We are not called to be fake; we are not called to put on a mask.
2 Corinthians 12:9- "The Lord said to me, 'My grace is enough for you. When you are weak, then my power is made perfect in you.' So I am very happy to brag about my weaknesses. Then Christ's power can live in me."
God will work His power in you when you are weak. You don't have to be stone-hard with God. You don't need to put up emotional boundaries or any boundaries with God.
It doesn't matter how dense, how high, how far, how wide, how many, God will tear through those boundaries, no effort.
You can't run, you can't hide, and eventually, no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to successfully ignore God either. You will always fail and God will never fail. You're not in control, He is. It's not going to change. God's never going to change. The parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders. There's a reason why the house built on the rock remained intact through the storm. If you're building your life on anything but God, that storm comes, and it's over. You might be given another chance to build your life on God, you might not. You might run out of chances. Eventually the biggest storm roles around and you're surrounded by sand, not standing on the rock, bad place to be. Sand isn't secure: relationships, people, achievements, money, projects, sports, places, photos, videos, awards, all of that. God is secure. He is the rock. Storm comes, you're standing on the rock, you'll be alright. Whatever you're going through, God will get you through it according to His timing and plans for your life.
